This is a great hairspray which holds my hair well without being sticky or too stiff. When I first spray it, it has an unpleasant, chemical smell, but it quickly changes to a very sweet aroma. I wouldn't recommend it for men because of the strong floral scent which lasts for a long time. I have had mixed reviews on the fragrance. My sister complemented me and asked which perfume I was wearing. My husband, however, who is very sensitive to fragrances, couldn't stand it. This product will definitely conflict with any perfume you might choice to wear. In conclusion, this hairspray performs very well, but you have to decide for yourself whether or not the fragrance is something you like or not.

BEST hairspray I have ever used. I have very fine, thin hair and this spray holds very well. It adds body and a little thickness, but is NEVER too stiff, sticky or tacky. Yes, the scent is kind of strong, but it does not last very long. If you grew up in the 60's, 70's or 80's....like me; you will find the scent nostalgic! It smells like an old fashioned "Beauty Parlor"....you know the kind where Mom or Grandma used to get their hair "done". Great price, great product and fast shipping.

I have very very fine hair (and only so much of it) and I love this hairspray - best I've found. There are about three kinds and I do definitely prefer the All Day Volume / Extra Strong Hold / Humidity Protection. I select by the color of the bar at the top of the can and the color of the box in the lower section. I will say I use A LOT of spray to get the hold I want but it doesn't ever look or feel "laquered". And I think I get better humidity protection than with heavier sprays.
